32: Freedom

Hello people!! OK, so, ever since i've been back, I'm kinda literally couped up in my house.

Hence! Thanks to a dear dear friend, i was introduced to this!!

Everyone!! Say hi to "FORSAKEN WORLD"!!!

This game is produced by 'Perfect World productions'. They have a similar game which is called "Perfect World", but to play that you require kaching kaching$$... But this one!! Is totally FREE!! Well, unless you guys wanna buy their fashion or "special" items... They have a small portion of things which you have to pay cash to get.

Downloading this baby was a bitch! Because, the whole file which contains the maps, etc etc , in total is 3.31GB. =S Had to load it the whole night through... But it was SO worth it!!

Everything in the game is 3D, the graphics are superb! Although you will find it laggy if your connection is bad. Also! you have to register an account before you can play it. And there are super-annoying frequent updates now and then... >,<. Well... the concept is something like pet forest, There's a story behind it but i'm too lazy to type it all out. SO, in the beginning, you chose a race.

The 5 available races, HUMANS, ELVES, STONEMEN, DWARVES and KINDRED.

In the story, Vampires come from kindred's, but they need to go through a ceremony or something. SO, KINDREDS are not VAMPIRES!! Unless they go through the ceremony, they are normal kindreds that DO NOT drink blood.

Then, you choose a class.

There are 8 classes. BUT, not all races can choose all 8 classes.

HUMANS: warrior, assassin, mage and priest.

ELVES: Warrior, priest and bard.

DWARVES: marksmen.

STONEMEN: protectors (stonemen can only be male.)

KINDRED: Assassin, mage and Vampire.

Hence from here, you can see that Bards, Marksmen, Protectors and Vampires are only available to one race.

Each race has their own map when they start off. I personally enjoy the elves and kindred map more... out of personal bias-ness. =P When you start off, the quest that you go on will introduce you to the many skills you will need for higher levels. OH! Once you get to lvl 10, you need to learn cooking, alchemy and botany. Which are jobs you need to take. After lvl 10 you will take on new jobs... etc etc. The fighting is kinda nice (but stupid sometimes)... When you engage an enemy, you won't go into a new window or anything, You'll juz engage them there and then. For warriors and Assassins, you need to know how to combine your skills to ensure smoother attacks. Both classes are 5 star classes, hence the hardest amongst the 8.

Here I'll show you 3 of my main char's!! =D

Oh yeah, i juz got the pic's online, so that's not how my char's look like.

My favorite char: Kindred assassin. Pheneela (I think, i kinda forgot...=S)

Currently lvl 20. I like assasins because they kill their target fast. Very good for solo players and i LOVE her skills!! =D Especially since she's a kindred, she has skills like "Vampire's kiss" Which steals health from her targets and weakens them. Assassins are purely tankers.

My 2nd Favourite: Elve bard, Fertishia.

Currently lvl 17. Elegant and awesome outfits & accessories. Elves kinda have an attitude, but i LIKE!! ok. Bards are partially tankers& support. Since they play music that can help strengthen their allies, they are great support for a team. They can also heal. Solo wise, they have to depend on their pets to help shield them from attacks while they weaken the enemy from a distance.

Last but not least: Human Priest, Zerephinus.

Currently lvl 10. Have stopped lvl-ing her up because I'm waiting for someone to help me tank.

Priest are purely support. I created this char cause Priest are highly in demand in FW. Every party needs a priest especially when they go into instances. They try to prevent from having bards and vampires because they are only half supports. Most of the time they'll be attacking too, hence forgetting to heal their allies.

Being purely support char's, priest are very weak in battle, you can even see it in their early quest. Although they can heal, they take twice as much time to finish a quest compared to even the bards. But, When in a team, it's almost crucial to have them because their healing rates are much higher and stronger compared to the vampire or the bards. =)

Cause it's been some time since it came out, and a lot of people are playing it... Most of the common names have been taken up, Hence all the weird weird character names, LOL! Took me ages to get a name which was not used. T.T

Well well, FW's pets don't look as nice as the PF's ones. But some are quite interesting... LOL!

If anyone is interested, PLEASE come and play!! These types of games are so much nicer when you have friends playing together. =S
